Wellness/Stress Reduction

In the process of seeking true health and wellness there are seven facets that must be addressed in order to reduce stress in all of these areas. We experience the world through our nervous system and stress reduces its performance.  If our nervous system is not functioning optimally neither will the tissues, organs, and systems of our body.  In conjuction with spinal correction through chiropractic (relieves spinal stress), it is important to reduce stress in these other areas.  To determine your overall stress levels examine the following:

  1. Spiritual - connection with God
  2. Physical - the health of your body
  3. Family - harmony in your home
  4. Career - fulfilling and purposeful work
  5. Financial - stewardship of your resources
  6. Social - ease in social situations
  7. Mental - emotional and intellectual development

Ultimately, true healing occurs on the spiritual plane. With growing evidence of the power of prayer and the health benefits experienced by those who regularly worship, it’s increasingly clear that our spiritual health is a factor in our overall health.  How connected with God do you feel?
