Pain Relief Care/Patch Care
Most people come to see us because they are in pain and want it to stop. If this is you, then we begin with a treatment protocol to get you out of pain. Even if you aren’t in pain and want to improve general health and performance, you could benefit from this phase of care. Despite the name, we are not only addressing the pain but also reducing inflammation in the joints of your spine and improving range of motion and flexibility. This prepares your body for the next phase of care.

Structural Corrective Care Programs
Structural Corrective Care is provided using the Chiropractic Biophysics protocol of care if necessary based on the comprehensive analysis from the x-rays and digital structure exam. Individualized Mirror Image Adjustments, Remodeling Traction, and Corrective Structural Exercises will be needed to attain correction in the shortest possible time. For more information on Chiropractic Biophysics or the research supporting its effectiveness please click here.

*Above is an example of how we are able to make these changes within your posture and structural alignment. If we find that you have a misalignment (in this case her head is shifted to the right), we would reccommend specific exercises that strengthen the muscles opposing that posture and strengthening those that will correct your posture. We also perform mirror image adjustments that retrain the nervous system to recognize the more normal posture by putting you in the opposite posture from which we gathered from data in the initial analysis. Lastly, we use remodeling traction to correct the shape of the ligaments that are holding you in the abnormal posture. This process is much like what braces do for your teeth, although it doesn’t take near as long because we are using the exercises and adjustments to compliment. Without utilizing all three of these rehab protocols in conjuction it is very difficult to get optimal correction.

Wellness / Maintenance Care Programs
Wellness and Maintenance Care Programs are typically provided after you complete Corrective Care or Patch Care. Once your structural correction is achieved you will need to maintain the correction in order to prevent any regression. Think of it as having orthodontic braces on your teeth. After the alignment of your teeth is corrected you need to wear a retainer to maintain the correction. Maintenance care is a “retainer” for your body.
