What a difference a year makes!

The pictures are from bluebonnet pictures from 2009 and then from 2010. Only 365 days later. Wow! I am sure you can tell the difference. It is mind blowing how in such a short amount of time you can go from an almost-still- a-baby girl to a little girl who has a toddler brother!!
I try to remind myself to enjoy ALL the moments, but I am not successful at enjoying ALL the moments. On Monday I thought that I wasn’t going to make it. It was Day 1 of the second attempt at potty training. It has got to be one of the most frustrating tasks in parenting. Braelyn could tell me what she was supposed to do, but then pee in the floor. I almost gave up, because I was nervous I might hurt her-obviously I am exaggerating.
Then, after lots of prayers and patience she is doing it! Such a stressful task turned into a proud moment for me. I guess God gives us the not so joyful moments, so that successes and joyful moments feel even better.
I wonder what the pictures that I will be sending out in 2011 will look like. Three kids? Who knows what blessings we will have in the next 365 days, but I know that I am looking forward to them!
