First Time at the Beach

Braelyn and Brant made their first trip to the beach this summer. Brant, 5 months old, doesn’t really remember it! Braelyn loved chasing the seagulls. She is growing up so fast. I know everyone says that happens, but never really got the gravity of it until I experienced it myself. I am amazed at all she can do…feed herself, count to 12, say her ABCs, and hold a conversation with you. The best part is when she says, “ I wove you Mommy.” She melts my heart. My baby girl is getting big. Sometimes it is a little sad. In her Sunday school class, some of the kids cry for their mommies, but Braelyn runs from me when I go to pick her up. She is Miss Independent.
I never could have imagined the joys of being a mother. It is the most challenging yet rewarding experience of my life. God teaches me so much about myself through my children.
